You can play Backgammon Multiplayer locally or online. In local mode, you play against the computer. In online mode, you can choose an opponent from all over the world. The game is saved in the both modes. The game(s) can be interrupted for some time and be continued with the same opponent. You can have several saved games with different online opponents.

Backgammon Multiplayer is a traditional Backgammon game. The goal is to move all your 15 checkers into your own home board and then remove them off the board before your opponent can do the same. The checkers are moved forward only. Each player rolls dice at the beginning of every move. Dice indicates how many points a player has. In case of doubles (the same numbers), every dice is played twice.

You can double the stakes: The game starts with one point. But before his next move, a player can propose to double the stake for the following round. The player who accepts a double has the right to double his stake next. Doubling can't be used two times in a row. In case of refusal, your opponent loses the game.
